As Production Account Manager, David O’Brien keeps projects organized and clients informed from start to finish. A Loudoun County native who grew up in Lovettsville, VA, David earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from West Virginia University, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Communication. During his time at WVU, he was selected for the university’s Accelerated Sales Program, which sharpened his communication and business development skills.

In his role at Outdoor Spaces, David focuses on streamlining workflows and supporting the production process while maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout. He coordinates project timelines, keeps information moving between teams, and makes sure clients stay informed during every phase of their project. As a lifelong member of the local community, he also brings a genuine understanding of the area and the homeowners we serve.

David works directly with clients to share updates, communicate important details, and set realistic expectations along the way. His proactive, detail-oriented approach helps create a smooth, transparent process so homeowners feel confident and well cared for from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

What David enjoys most about his work is its collaborative nature, partnering with both clients and the team to bring each vision to life. He appreciates that no two projects are ever the same, and that each offers a new opportunity to learn and grow within the design-build industry.

An avid outdoorsman, David spends his free time mountain biking, snowboarding, playing soccer, and traveling, along with spending time with family and friends. That love of being outside gives him a natural appreciation for the outdoor living spaces we create and the way they help homeowners relax and enjoy their time outdoors. Closer to home, he’s also a dedicated reef keeper who maintains a 20-gallon saltwater aquarium.
